About Usman Ezad
Usman Ezad is the Chairman & CEO of Health & Group, a conglomerate of healthcare related companies. He is the founder/owner of Health & Psychiatry, one of Florida’s most innovative mental health organizations. A pioneer in tele-psychiatry, healthcare franchising, and digital care delivery, he has led the development of Florida’s first telepsychiatry operations, the nation’s first drive-in psychiatry clinic (during COVID), and is currently working on a “psychiatry franchise” model, which will be the first of its kind in that space.
Education & Early Career
Educated at some of the most prestigious institutions in Pakistan (Hasan Abdal and University of Engineering & Technology), with a double MBA in Marketing/HR from the Florida Metropolitan University (FMU), his career in the USA began at Mercedes-Benz, where he served as Director of HR & Development.
Starting his entrepreneurial journey in 2009, Usman is a nationally recognized innovator in behavioral healthcare whose mission is to bring hope, health, and harmony to the profession. A pioneer in tele-psychiatry, tele-medicine, healthcare franchising, and cosmetic wellness.
His leadership has grown H&P into one of Florida’s most advanced mental health practices, earning recognition from the Dubai Health Authority, and Strathmore’s Who’s Who.
Bi-partisan Leadership in Veteran & Patient Care
Being a multi-generational veteran himself, Usman’s focus, and engagement with numerous local/federal levels of administration; to optimize level of care/support for our veterans, has been significant and earned him recognition from (among others) U.S. Presidents. Currently, Usman is leading the effort in veteran care by working with local authorities to design & champion a support model for statewide engagement and standardize offering of critical psychiatric services to our veterans, first responders and armed force personnel.
